4 STEPS TO MENTAL & PHYSICAL WELL BEING:
1. Word Therapy (Affirmations): there is power in using the affirmation I AM… healthy, I am Fearless, I am happy, I am indomitable, irrespective of any circumstances. I have a sound mind. I have limitless potentials.
According to the Universal Law of Creation, whatever you add to “I AM” you will become, because your words become flesh & they also create positive or negative emotions. Which can affect your mental & physical health. This reminds of the boxer Mohammed Ali, who practiced this to become the greatest boxer during his prime.
2. Use the power of your mind: constructively rather destructively to create the life you desire and fulfil your purpose.
You will always attract energy that is in harmony with the vibration frequency of your personal thoughts and feelings.
For instance, if your dominant thoughts are positive of happiness it will generate positive emotions and attract positive feedback into your life. Likewise, negative feedback is as a result of dominant thoughts of anxiety and worries.
3. Focus on Positive: life will always present you with two polarities; positive or negative. Choose to always focus on the positive, and ignore the negative. Happiness is a choice and so you can decide to be happy irrespective of any crises.
I have noticed that laughter has a way of calming the nerves. So, don’t wait to feel happy before you laugh, just start laughing and the hormones for happiness will kick in.
My favourite book says; “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 NIV
4. Use Creative Visualization: you can use creative visualization to improve your mental and physical health. So, if you’re not happy with the direction of your life, you can change the dynamics by visualizing yourself living the life you desire.
Surprisingly, the hormones in our brain associated with the emotions created during visualization would respond in a similar way under real-life condition.
