I would like to start this discourse by asking the following questions:
Do you know that you were born a Genius?
Do you know that you have the potential power to create the life you want?
Do you believe that you have the capacity to change your setback to a comeback?
This brings me to my next point; Albert Einstein made an interesting observation, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
Michelangelo observed, “Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.”
From the etymology of the word Genius, the term is a Latin derivative that means deity of generation and birth. In other words, it refers to our innate dispositions, talents, and inborn nature.
Therefore, I would like to remind you that you were born a Genius and your potentials are limitless, irrespective of the colour of your skin or how many times you have tried and failed in the past.
Furthermore, all of us have the seed of greatness, unlimited potential, and success within us but what we eventually become is only a matter of personal choice.
This brings me to my main point, the Power of Creativity is a principle that governs the universe. This is because everything in existence was once an IDEA that became a REALITY through the process and power of CREATIVITY.
Hence, the power to create starts in your mind by leveraging your imagination and conceptualisation to move from ideation to creation.
This brings to mind the following notable quotations:
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life coming attractions. Imagination is more important than knowledge.” — Albert Einstein
”And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” — Genesis 1:3
This brings me to my next point; do you believe that you have the potential to become a Top Performer or Subject Matter Expert and excel in your chosen field irrespective of your gender, race, age, or background, or how many times you have tried and failed in the past?
In the words of Napoleon Hill ”Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”
The fundamental principle of Creativity is activated through the first step or process of leveraging the power of your mind to create your reality by imagining yourself Being, Doing, and Having your transformational desires (personal and professional).
The first-century scholar and author of the epistles Paul observed, ”God is able through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
Hence, the second step to activate your Power of Creativity and Ingenuity is to take the leap of faith and get started with what you already have (I called it Creative Seed Capital) and that includes your talents, skills, and experience.
In the words of Martin Luther King Jr, “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”
”You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” ― Zig Ziglar
Unfortunately, too many people have given up on their dreams, aspirations, and goals because they don’t know how to leverage the Power of Creativity and Ingenuity.

This brings me to another point; many people around the world especially those from the Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities have become victims of self-sabotage.
This is because the educational, environmental, religious, and cultural systems have instilled in their subconscious minds self-limiting beliefs, self-doubt, and all forms of self-sabotage which have limited their abilities to maximise the Power of Creativity and Ingenuity to their advantage and make positive impacts in their communities.
This process of miseducation and mental conditioning has perpetuated ignorance, poverty, crime, mental slavery, and identity crisis among the BAME and other global communities.
However, my favorite book says, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”
Alvin Toffer made an interesting observation, “The illiterate of the twenty-first century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn.”
In the words of Jim Rohn, ”Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.”

This brings me to my final point, how can you maximise the Power of Creativity to your benefit?
In the words of late Pan-Africanist Marcus Garvey, “We are going to emancipate ourselves from mental slavery because whilst others might free the body, none but ourselves can free the mind.”
Waldo Emerson observed, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
Therefore, it is your personal responsibility to activate your power of creativity and ingenuity through the process of continuous reprogramming of your mind by learning, unlearning, and relearning; so that you can overcome every limitation to becoming the Best Version of yourself.
The Best Version of yourself is where you can operate at the highest level of your Creative Genius and Productivity.
My favorite book says, “Be transformed by renewing your mind (by un-installing self-limiting beliefs and all forms of self-sabotage from your mind).”
Simply put, the best way to reprogram the mind is to start with Positive Affirmations and Self-talk because your words and thoughts create your reality.
The reason why the use of Empowering Positive Affirmation is an essential daily habit is because it is the key to reprogramming your mind by deconstructing false paradigms, limiting beliefs, impostor syndrome, negative self-image, and all forms of self-sabotage.
And then replacing them with empowering belief systems, mental resilience, new self-concept, and positive self-identity that are congruent to your Uniqueness; because you are a Phenomenal Masterpiece and Creative Genius.
